We are a DEI partnership, a network of experts and most importantly, a group of people with the expertise and lived experience to truly speak on behalf of the various intersections of humanity in order to work towards fair, diverse and equitable work environments for all.

OUR APPROACH

Our goal is to develop programmes for all of the major intersections of humanity and drive home the importance of representation. By creating a bespoke plan to engage, inspire, support, train and celebrate diverse groups of people within one culture, we are able to transform the workplace from a business into a family. We see the workplace as an extension of society – it is a key touchpoint to engage with all intersections of humanity in a healthy way. This isn’t just a cultural goal; it has a direct connection to business growth. We believe that with the support of businesses over a 10- year period, we can eradicate the current need for DEI departments, boards and committees, and will welcome truly representative, safe workplaces (and society) for all.

WHY BELOVD?

We believe that in order to build a BELOVD community, the work must begin in workplaces, organisations and institutions of education.

It also must begin:

In the spaces where societal narratives are built; where decisions about hiring, firing and compensating are made; and where futures are determined

In corner offices and classrooms In work environments and work cultures.

Note: we spend around one-third of our lives at work – that can significantly impact one’s well-being, social life, relationships and more In addressing and eradicating bias from spaces where decisions are made, as well as among individuals who are raising and influencing our new generations.

This is all at the core of our work and the heart of what we are trying to achieve.
