OUR FOUNDER
BELOVD Agency was founded by Marvyn Harrison in the summer of 2020. In the wake of George Floyds murder in the US, Marvyn found himself working as part of an initiative uniting Black leaders and organisations.
Quickly realising that there was a lot of synergy in the respective work done outside of that coalition, as well as in approach and philosophy. Marvyn initiated the conversation and after one (long) meeting, BELOVD was born. Our approach, our philosophy and our training programs are all birthed from within their deep convictions and lived experience and ultimately the belief that a better tomorrow is possible.
Marvyn Harrison
Marvyn Harrison is an inspirational community leader and businessman who is able to deliver business goals and vision using sound strategy, communication, and people management. Respected as a credible source of knowledge of community and Cultural strategy, Marvyn is able to drive culture change and deliver tangible results across business, projects, and campaigns.
His leadership experience as the founder and driving force behind Dope Black CIC, an educational and healing platform designed to improve the outcomes of Black people, has seen him become the voice of the Black community across the UK, US, and African continent.
Marvyn previously oversaw a strategic consultancy called XYXX, which has served
clients such as WPP, Omnicom, City Football Group, and Samsung.
In the last 15 years Marvyn was a consultant across music, film, and TV and delivered successful campaigns for Universal, Sony, Universal, Ciroc, Playstation, and W Hotel. His ability to provide insights into trends allowed him to embed brands and products deep in the cultural psyche of its consumers in order to provide a platform to drive mainstream success.
Marvyn is dedicating his future to supporting businesses and organisations in their evolution to becoming more representative of the diverse cities they operate in and the dynamic consumers they serve.
